Hide the chat on some pages
Updated October 20, 2026
On a hidden page, the chat does not show and the tab title does not count unread replies. The rest of the site keeps the chat.
- Open App settings > Developers > Domain, apps and pages.
- In “Hidden pages”, type a page, for example /checkout, then click “Add”.
- Click “Save”. Your site follows the list without changing its code.
The rules
- /checkout hides that page only. /account/* hides /account and every page under it.
- A * stands for any run of characters, in the middle too: /products/*/reviews.
- Capitals, a trailing slash, parameters after ? and anchors like #top do not count.
- On a site whose pages read #/checkout, the part after # counts as the page.
- You can paste a full address: only the path is kept.
- The list applies to the App’s Domain, on every Plan: 50 pages at most.
To test an address, type it beside the list: you see whether the chat shows there. On a hidden page, your site’s code opening the chat is ignored, and the browser console says why.
