Set your App’s Domain and apps
Updated October 28, 2026
An App has one Domain, one iOS app and one Android app. The chat shows nowhere else: your key copied onto another site or into another app does not work there. Until they are set, the chat stays hidden.
- Open App settings > Developers > Domain, apps and pages.
- For a website, in “Domain”, type its domain, for example kibomarket.com.
- For an app, in “Domain, apps and pages”, type its “Bundle ID (iOS)” and its “Package name (Android)”, for example com.kibomarket.app.
- Click “Save”.
The rules
- You can paste a full address: only the domain is kept, without the path or the port.
- kibomarket.com also covers www.kibomarket.com, on every port. Another subdomain, such as shop.kibomarket.com, is another site: it needs its own App.
- localhost is always allowed, without setting it: you test on your computer right away.
- The iOS Bundle ID and Android Package name are those of your App Store and Google Play listings. With Expo, they are ios.bundleIdentifier and android.package in app.json.
- A platform with no ID set does not show the chat.
- Only the App’s platforms show: the Domain and Hidden pages for a website, the app IDs for React Native. Add one in Getting started.
- Two Apps can have the same Domain or the same ID.
Anywhere else, the chat stays hidden and the browser’s or Metro’s console says why. Getting started shows the last domain and app seen, with a button to set them in one click. Admins and the Owner can change these settings.
