Customise how the chat looks

Updated October 19, 2026

Open App settings > Appearance. The preview shows the chat as your Contacts will see it. Once saved, your changes reach your site without touching the code.

  • Brand colour: type a colour like #1f7a6a, or pick it.
  • Logo: in the chat’s header, and next to your replies when the sender shown is the App.
  • Launcher image: a photo or picture in place of the default icon, in the round button. PNG, JPG or WebP, 2 MB at most, ideally a 256 × 256 px square.
  • Launcher position: the round button that opens the chat, bottom right or bottom left.
  • Header text: under the App’s name at the top of the chat on a website, until the Contact writes. Not in a mobile app: the header stays on one line there.
  • Default language: for Contacts whose device speaks neither French nor English.
  • Sender shown to Contacts: the first name and photo of the member who replies, or only the App’s name.
  • “Powered by” badge: shown until you turn the switch on, where your Plan lets you hide it. On SME, Company settings > Billing hides it on all your Apps at once.

The colour in the dashboard

With “Colour the dashboard”, on by default, buttons, switches, tabs and badges take the App’s colour. You always see which App you are working on. The chat Contacts see always keeps the brand colour.

Each member uploads their photo in My profile. A member who signs in with Google shows with their Google photo until they upload another one.
