Transfer ownership of the company

Each company has exactly one Owner, and only the Owner can transfer ownership.

1. Open Company settings > Danger zone.
2. In “Transfer ownership”, choose the member who becomes the Owner.
3. Click “Transfer”, then confirm.

• The person you choose becomes the Owner, with every right, the danger zone included.
• You become an Admin and lose access to the danger zone.
• To get ownership back, ask the Owner to hand it back to you.

The company needs at least one other member. A paused member cannot receive ownership.
