Install

Install on WordPress or Shopify

Paste the Install code into your WordPress or Shopify theme.

The samples show app_your_app_key. Open this guide from App settings > Developers > Getting started to see your App’s key in them.

When AI replies are enabled for the App, the chat identifies AI answers and offers “Talk to a Member”. No extra SDK option or AI secret is required. Provider keys stay on the server.

On WordPress and Shopify, the chat installs with the same Install code as a website, pasted once into your theme.

1. Set your Domain

  1. Open App settings > Developers > Domain, apps and pages.
  2. In “Domain”, type the domain of your site or shop, then save.
  3. On Shopify, type the domain your customers see: the myshopify.com address does not show the chat.

2. Copy the code

WordPress

Paste the code just before your theme’s </body> tag, or in a plugin that adds code to the footer of every page. The chat shows at the bottom of each page.

Shopify

  1. In Shopify, open Online Store > Themes.
  2. On your theme, open the menu, then “Edit code”.
  3. Open theme.liquid and paste the code just before the </body> tag.
  4. Save: the chat shows on every page of the shop.

The code never changes: chat updates arrive without touching it. To control it from your pages, see Install on a website.
